A New Year dawns bringing new hope...

Yet you may wonder what it holds? You may be uncertain of the future.

Yet we have nothing to fear because the God of Angel armies goes before us. Nothing in this world is certain other than Him. He is always by our side, and His promises are eternal.

Elisha knew who was with him when the enemies surrounded him. Elisha’s servant saw that he and Elisha were surrounded by enemy troops. But Elisha knew who was surrounding Him. He comforted the servant saying “Don’t worry. The people on our side far outnumber those against us.” Later on Elisha prayed, “O Lord, open his eyes and let him see!” (2 Kings 2:17 NLT). And God did. Suddenly, Elisha’s servant saw an army of angels on the hills outside ready to protect them from the army of Aram.

We may face the year not knowing what we would face; maybe we are like Elisha’s servant who did not see what God was doing. Yet we can be sure of one thing. The God of angel armies is the one who holds our hand. As long as we find our strength in Him and stand in His promises nothing can come against us!!
